Attention and care to individuals in crisis management has gained focus, especially in developed countries. Crisis are considered situations that create imbalance in the individual and can be caused by factors intrinsic to human development or by external and uncontrollable factors such as accidents, emergencies, disasters and catastrophes. This work researched companies that have occupational risk in their core business, their strategies used to prevent and intervention in crisis situations and emergencies in order to identify job opportunities for the company Âncora Consultoria. This quantitative study was based on the use of questionnaire survey and identified the areas in businesses and professionals responsible for the work of prevention and intervention in risky situations and emergencies; reviewed the companies training programs in the security area; the preparation of professionals responsible for the work of prevention and intervention in situations of risk and to act with emergency assistance in crisis and the need for businesses to have professional trained to work with crisis intervention and emergencies. Were interviewed 10 professionals working in human resources (50%), safety (20%), operation (10%), direction (10%) and a psychologist (10%). Among the results identified that the key professionals involved in the prevention of occupational accidents are the area of human resources and safety, the training programs are predominantly targeted to meet the legal obligations and the training courses that prepares professionals to work with crisis intervention is inadequate. Based on the research findings, it was possible to perform an environmental review of Âncora Consultoria identifying opportunities for improving and developing its strategy and positioning.
