La presente investigación pretende analizar las oportunidades que ofrece el ordenamiento jurídico vigente en Nicaragua para el establecimiento de un mecanismo de compensación económica o pagos por servicios ambientales que permita favorecer la conservación, protección, manejo y uso sostenible del medio ambiente y los recursos naturales, específicamente el bien ambiental hídrico.- -
Abstract: Nicaragua has a huge capacity for its natural resources to implementing of a mechanism for payments for environmental services in order to conservation, protection, management and sustainable use of their environmental goods. The research aims to analyze from the legal point of view, that Nicaragua has a current legal framework that guardianship environmental goods, particularly hydrological resources to establish a mechanism to ensure the sustainability of the resource.
