The work investigated the effect of the PDGI method application evaluating its business
success in five architecture offices, all located in the city of Recife, state of
Pernambuco, Brazil. The method focused on the systemic support to the business that
was conceived on the basis of skills and indicators, supported by four pillars:
Leadership, Management, Innovation and Business. In order to serve as a basis for
the necessary studies and analyzes, the theoretical foundations were sought in the
literature, whose main focuses were the themes of business management and
innovation, also connecting with premises for business success. From the empirical
research, data were obtained to describe the evolution in the architecture firms studied,
based on the assessment of the level of management maturity and through the
application of a questionnaire. At the end of this work, it was found that the method
proved to be applicable, positively influencing competitiveness, consistency to make
decisions, financial results and, consequently, it proved to be effective in supporting
the path of business success of the companies studied.
