Descrição
The study of interactions / suggestions made by friends in a WhatsApp group for the
rewriting of Fanfictions (Fics) represents a stimulus to the fictional production of texts
in a digital environment. This research aims at analyzing how the interactions, carried
out by young high school fanfictioners in a WhatsApp group (WA), influence the
rewriting of Fics. We conducted a qualitative research, with five high school youths,
aged between 17 and 19 years old, from a Public School in the state of Pernambuco
Education Network. It is a longitudinal scientific investigation, based on theoretical
assumptions related to the: Theory of Genres in the perspective of Bakhtinian
Architecture; the Textual Linguistics; the Digital Information and Communication
Technologies (TDICs); the Theory of Literary Genres and in Multiliteracies. To this end,
the following action strategies were chosen methodologically: (i) select the Fics that
were analyzed, considering the sequence: 1. the beginning of each Fic, to
contextualize theplot; 2. parts of Fic that were cited in the interactions of the WA group
3. parts of the rewritten Fic, after the interactions in the WA group; (ii) select the
suggestions related to the Fics analyzed in the WA group; (iii) interpret, in the light of
Bakhtinian Architetonics, as the interactions / suggestions given by the fanfiqueiras, in
a group of WA, influence in the rewriting of the Fics, in what it concerns compositional
and linguistic form, thematic content and style; (iv) to identify, in the rewritten Fics, the
traces of the interactions / suggestions, given by fanfiqueiras, related: to the
multiliteracies, to the poetic intergenericity and discursive and beta collaboration. We
believe that, through this research, Fics producers are motivated to produce for
interlocutors in real production conditions in digital environments, thus exceeding the
limit imposed by the prescriptions of the Portuguese language class, with regard to the
production of written texts, in school. The research results confirm the influence of the
interactions / suggestions of the WA group in the rewriting of the Fics. We ratify that
screen research is considered emerging in linguistic studies, which does not exhaust
the need for new research addressing the topic of rewriting in the digital medium, with
emphasis on the Fics, and for the contemporary relevance of the social network WA.
