Nas teias da educação elitizada, os fios de inclusão social para as pessoas pobres: Congregação das filhas do amor divino no Nordeste brasileiro, 1925-1980.
Description
Christianity, specially the Roman Catholic Church, with its various Congregations and religious Orders, has as its mission the proclamation of the Gospel and the liberation of the oppressed through social inclusion (Education Ministry and Pastoral) in search of an abundant life (John 10.10). This research aims to rescue and analyze critically the process of social inclusion of the poor by the Daughters of Divine Love (DDL), in Northeast of Brazil, through the educational and pastoral works in the period of 1925-1980. One realizes that the Catholic Church in Brazil has exercised great influence in society since the 15th century, however, so that the goals of the Catholic Church were achieved was necessary the partnership of Catholic school education, being the Jesuits the first teachers in the country, who for more than two centuries led the education in Brazil, which enabled them for teaching religion through the Catechism teaching in schools. Also in this educational mission, stands out the presence of religious feminine and masculine Congregations that came from Europe, covering an extensive area in which they could run educational and pastoral activities. However, due to the society and to social, political and economic issues experienced by Brazil, education was stigmatized as elite education beyond that were highlighted actions that favour the integration of the poor. This research has qualitative, bibliographical and documentary methodology, with semi-structured interviews with a sample of 20 people participating, having leaded the Congregation of the Daughters of Divine Love, founded in Vienna in Austria (1868), coming to Brazil in 1920, in Rio Grande do Sul. In 1925, went to the Brazilian Northeast to the city of Caicó and later to Assu, Natal, Currais Novos, Areia Branca and Parnamirim, all they in Rio Grande do Norte. In this context one registers the city of Patos-PB, Palmeira dos Índios-AL, Itapoã-BA and Taguatinga-DF integrating the province Nossa Senhora das Neves (PRONEVES). As the bibliographic material (instruments) is scarce, it‟s necessary a building from the readings and analysis of primary sources contained in the books of Chronicles of the schools of this province. As theoretical basis were chosen, Laércio Moura, S.J. (2000), João Batista Libânio (1995; 2000 b), Pedro Demo (1991, 1981 a; b; c; d 1997 1998) Sérgio Junqueira; Raul Wagner (ed.) 2011, Maria Lúcia (2013), Dermeval Saviani (2011) among others, as well as the documents of the Church and oral sources through nuns, students, teachers and people who have experienced or had knowledge of that trajectory. As a result it is hoped to obtain a summary of the scientific work done by the sisters Daughters of Divine Love in educational and pastoral level, in the Northeast of Brazil (1925-1980).Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPES
