Bolsonarismo em isolamento : uma cartografia pelos sentidos do bolsonarismo em acontecimentos referentes à pandemia da covid-19
Description
Jair Bolsonaro was elected the thirty-eighth president of the Republic in October 2018. A controversial figure, he gained popularity for his anti-PT and populist speeches, attracting millions of loyal voters willing to defend him and support his decisions unconditionally. In 2020, the highly contagious and possibly lethal new coronavirus broke out, leading WHO to declare a new pandemic in March of the same year. Jair Bolsonaro took different measures from those recommended by health specialties, leading Brazil to reach the mark of more than 650,000 deaths by the time of the publication of this research. The present research aims to collect clues to the construction of bolsonarism as an identity through interactions made in posts about covid-19 made by news pages on Facebook and to understand its relationship with the highlighted events. Through a cartography carried out on the social platform, 38 publications and 1224 interactions were collected to build a map of meanings to understand aspects of bolsonarism. After the analysis, I observed that the identity of the political group does not only have the image of Jair Bolsonaro as a central figure, but creates its own identifications from its opponents, understood as enemies. Among them are Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, PT, Rede Globo and Brazilian Federal Court of Justice.CAPES - Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior
