This work aimed to analyze the influence of employee engagement on the performance of the branch sales team of a retail bank. As engagement is a positive psychological state related to work, it can be considered a competitive advantage for the organization, since engaged employees and consequently more dedicated, will positively influence productivity. aligned to the phenomenological paradigm, the method used was exploratory descriptive, using quantitative and qualitative methodology for data collection and analysis. A survey was applied, measuring the engagement of the analyzed Bank's sales teams, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. A questionnaire was also applied with managers to validate the findings and identify points to be worked on by the company. Quantitative data were analyzed using SPSS quantitative analysis software. Qualitative data were treated by content analysis. The work identified the levels of engagement at Bank A and that the relationship of engagement with sales performance had its existence proven through qualitative analysis.BB - Banco do Brasil
