The use of artifacts is very common in software development methods. However, with agile methodologies, they started to be less used, mostly because one of their premises is the use of less documentation. This study aims to identify, through a survey with 52 people, which are the artifacts more used during the process of software development, as well as their importance to the process and the consequences of their absence.
