Implantação de inovações em duas organizações hospitalares privadas: proposição de diretrizes para apoio à gestão
Descrição
The technological advances observed throughout history have generated the need to implementation of innovations in all sectors, not being different in the hospital environments, which has caused impacts on the performance and management models used. The research question involves seeking an answer to the following problem: How can hospitals manage the implementation of innovations, minimizing barriers and difficulties arising from them? The objective is to propose a set of guidelines to support hospital management during the implementation of innovations. For this purpose, in the structure of this thesis, four articles were prepared to support the theoretical framework, two of them through a systematic literature review and two through a case study. The first article addresses topics related to ―The challenges of innovation management in hospital environments‖. The second article deals with ―Collaborative innovation in services: a case study on the contribution of suppliers to the innovation process in hospital environments”. The third article discusses “Collaboration networks as an innovation strategy” and the fourth article, called “Guidelines for the implementation of innovations in hospital environments” presents the result of a case study carried out to support the purpose of this thesis. The results allowed to identify that, for the implantation of innovations, the hospital needs to: (i) involve internal and external elements for innovation management; (ii) learn to innovate; and, (iii) involve mid-level managers in the process of implementing innovations. In addition, suppliers can contribute their expertise to the implementation of innovations. It is possible to form a collaborative network between suppliers and hospitals and obtain the necessary involvement to implement innovative practices. As a result, the research presents, a set of guidelines capable of contributing to facilitate the process of implantation or implementation of innovations, reducing the managerial impacts of resistance to change in the hospital environment.Nenhuma
