Impact businesses are entrepreneurial phenomena that aim to mitigate social and/or environmental problems with new organizational and sustainable formats. In essence, they are organizations geared to socio-environmental transformation in an economically self-sustainable manner. The objective of this thesis is to propose a set of entrepreneurial guidelines for impact business management in order to promote the leverage of their performance, particularly in the Brazilian context of micro and small organizations. The method defined is the multiple case study with 10 analysis units. The results show the levers and barriers faced by the enterprises in their journeys, classified by latent dimensions of research - social entrepreneur; creation of socio-environmental value; ecosystem of impact business; market orientation; learning and development. In addition, the delivery of an empirical theoretical framework for impact business management from the perspective of organizations in an environment of extreme uncertainty, in addition to the statement of 15 guidelines for management execution in hybrid organizations in Brazil. The study contributes to the expansion of the theoretical domain on impact business, especially by offering the structural elements of the framework. Furthermore, it contributes to the strengthening of management practices in impact businesses and by enhancing the advancement of micro and small hybrid enterprises.Nenhuma
