This research aims to build a recommendation system to support the development of critical thinking and clinical reasoning in health education, making use of current recommendation strategies, which allows assistance in the teaching and learning process. For this, a bibliographic survey on simulators was carried out to support health education more broadly. A second step, bibliographic research on recommendation systems was carried out for reasoning this study. In order to obtain the state of the art in recommendation systems, in a third stage a systematic review was carried out, which made it possible to search for the main techniques, assessment models. Thus, it was possible to propose a recommendation system based on a theory that aims to develop critical thinking and clinical reasoning skills. From this, it was possible to develop a experiments with different approaches and to evaluate the proposed system, the first being to evaluate the traditional recommendation techniques used, the second aiming to validate the prototype in an approach called offline, while the third experiment aims to integrate the first and the second, that is, to put into practice the recommendation system proposed in this work. The fourth and final experiment aimed to evaluate the users' experience with the simulator. The results selected through a specialist or proposed system have potential for the teaching and learning process using simulators of the type of virtual patient, since the requests can help the student to follow the teaching process.en
