Organizations in the most diverse sectors are even more concerned with the quality of their services. The Nursing assistance quality in the health services is related to the efficiency and effectiveness of the initial approach (assessment), the diagnosis of the necessities and the necessary interventions so that the different health services apply minimum quality standards. This study had as its general objective to know the satisfaction of the internee clients in a private hospital concerning the assistance service quality done by the Nursing staff. It is a qualitative research which was carried out in a large hospital in the city of Porto Alegre/RS, with the internee clients in a patients unit during the months of March and April 2012. The study followed internee patients in a clinical and surgical unit until the proposed objectives were all researched. The patients demonstrated that besides the technical service, the need effective communication between the nurse and the patient so that the quality of the Nursing service becomes effective.
