This study performed investigation of the structure of the assets efficiency index of Trensurb, where the efficiencies of each ones are measured during the period of operation on transporting people. The availability information is presented in an indicator tree format, and each asset monitored contributes with its part on the efficiency calculating of the equipment or systems hierarchically superior, until it reaches the general availability index of the systems, called the Operational Efficiency Index (IEO). Thus, the result of the IEO calibrated is a numerical value, indicative of the general percentage of the availabilities of the operational assets. The understanding is that this monitoring of metro sub-systems can to influences positively to the quality of the transport services provided by Trensurb to the people.
