Running tests is of paramount importance for ensuring the quality of software products, but may prove to be an expensive activity for the organization owing to the time required to perform repetitive tests. Currently Betha Sistemas Ltda deals with a huge effort in performing manual tests, many of which can be done automatically by a test automation robot. This work involves the management plan of the project creation of a specialist area of test automation, which will aim to increase containment of defects to market. Included in this document are the plans of management of integration, scope, time, costs, quality, human resources, communications, risk, procurement and stakeholders, following the practices addressed in the 5th edition of the PMBOK - Project Management Body of Knowledge.
