Nowadays, software quality becomes a determining factor in the market, and software testing is an important step to achieve it. The process improvement also comes as an ally, as only tests can not ensure the achievement of quality. To improve a process is necessary to perform its mapping. In this context, this paper intends to perform the improvement of the testing process in a small software development company. The article comprises the proposed improvement of the testing process as well as the evaluation results, after the application of the improved process, obtained by means of a qualitative questionnaire applied to the ones involved. The results indicate that after using the proposed process, an improvement in the tests was achieved.
