This article aims to evaluate and expose the ergonomic risk that the construction workers who perform the standardized hammer lifting activity during the percussion drilling execution. This hammer has a mass of 65 kg, as technical recommendation of ABTN NBR 6484:2001(1). It characterizes the ergonomic risk during the course of the activity, a prior analysis of the workplace was held, adopting as a method for analyzing the RULA (Rapid Upper - Limb Assessment), using photos and footage in various worker angles, during the course of that activity. Using the method, we tried to find what the position had major damage to occupational health and possible solution to avoid it.
