Concrete is currently the most employed material in Civil engineering. However one perceives the problem created by the extraction of natural resources and the high energy consumption for its production. Because of this, research has being developed with the incorporation of the waste industry in general, in order to reduce energy costs for production of concrete and still allow for proper disposal for such wastes. The objective this study is to evaluate the influence of processing in the rice husk ash produced concrete with partial replacement of Portland cement, through the characterization of rice husk ash, and his performance as pozolan. The work begins with the acquisition of CCA, followed by the segregation of part the material and grinding. After the specimens were developed in concrete to check the influence of incorporation of this residue in fresh by the writings of subsidence and workability, and hardened state by mechanical and absorption. For both developed into concrete with three water cimenticious materials ratios (0.41, 0.49 and 0.57), and two levels of replacement (10% and 20%) with the two types of ash studied (natural and screened). After this step the data were compiled and analyzed in order to obtain answers about influence of incorporation of the residue in question. The results were evaluated by statistical analysis, indicating that both the beneficiation screening as the content presented replacing effects significant effect on the properties of the hardened concrete. The fresh properties also influenced the content and type of ash used.Banco Santander / Banespa
