Manejo de Musca domestica em indústria de alimentos
Description
Musca domestica is a cosmopolitan insect and very known about its synanthropic and inner behavior. These characters represent a might risk to food industries, despite the fact that house flies are mechanical vectors of many microrganisms that cause intestinal diseases. Surveys were made to check how environmental factors (humidity, temperature and rainfall) and anthropic factors (hygienic process, waste management and chemical pest control) influence the remaining and occurrence of house flies in two chicken slaughter houses, in Montenegro and Passo Fundo, in Rio Grande do Sul. In this research, light traps were used to attract house flies which were captured on sticky board and summed fortnightly. The light traps were installed in many sectors of the slaughter houses, separated in two categories: A – sectors with solid and liquid organic waste and B – sectors without organic waste. Kruskal-Wallis 5% of probability showed that the difference between two categories is statistically significant, with three timeBanco Santander / Banespa
