Abstract

This work presents Flexibel Secure Service Discovery (FSSD), a protocol for service discovery in ubiquitous systems. Its design is centered by the participants. The proposed approach provides trust management, in addition to descentralized mechanisms to control the exposure and access to the service information. The protocol properties were evaluated with simulation, by varying both security and privacy levels of the system in order to demonstrate that the proposed approach properly addresses the tradeoff regarding peer collaboration
