La violencia contra las mujeres en el contexto de la pandemia: entre la eliminación del espacio público y la toma del ciberespacio

Abstract

El presente artículo tiene por objeto utilizar las categorías de violencia simbólica (Pierre Bourdieu) y de justicia (Jacques Rancière), para analizar la evolución de la violencia contra las mujeres en el contexto de la pandemia global por covid-19 en México y Chile, así como las respuestas institucionales y sus limitaciones en la garantía de los derechos humanos de las mujeres. El artículo propone, en este contexto, la toma del ciberespacio por diversos movimientos sociales y colectivos feministas como resistencias en busca de justicia ante una actuación estatal que está lejos de instrumentar respuestas integrales frente a la exclusión y la violencia simbólica.

This paper aims at using the categories of symbolic violence (Pierre Bourdieu), and justice (Jacques Rancière), to analyze the evelopment of gender violence against women in the context of the global pandemic by covid-19 in México and Chile, as well as the institutional responses and their limitations to guarantee the human rights of women. This paper puts forward the conquest of cyberspace by feminist social movements and collectives, as a process of resistance in the search of justice, and against government actions that are far from implementing integral responses in the face of exclusion and symbolic violence.
