The study “Cooperation between Universities and Public and Private Society Organizations” explores the benefits for the population and the strengthening of institutions as centers of excellence through services at university dentistry clinics. The research is qualitative in nature with a case study, where interviews with data saturation were used as one of the forms of information collection, the formation of cooperation networks between universities and external bodies was addressed, an area with research gaps. It focuses on cooperation in school dental clinics and its impact on the community's quality of life, alleviating the burden on public health services and strengthening the protection of universities. These clinics play a crucial role in academic development and the connection between the university and the community. The lack of specific literature on partnerships involving dental schools and public and private organizations motivated the research. In a context of reforms in the public sector, health systems seek cooperation with teaching and research institutions, while private organizations desire partnerships with scalable results in the short and medium term. The results obtained highlight the need for cooperation with external bodies and the positive impact of clinic care on the community. For some patients, this was their first interaction with a higher education institution, making the university a reference in oral health services. The research resulted in an instructional cooperation booklet to guide collaboration between universities and public and private organizations. It is hoped that this work will promote cooperation in educational environments and improve the quality of life of the communities involved..Universidade de Rio Verde
