The work model that is currently being verified presents the intensification of telework that already exists, but has been alternatively used since the COVID 19 pandemic. In the financial market, especially banking, it occurs in the same way. The banking sector and its leaders needed to quickly adapt themselves to telework. Training has become essential for the achievement of goals and the correct management of their teams. Given this context, the following research question arose: how can the managers of a retail bank improve their management, considering the telework model in a traditional retail bank? To answer the question, the general objective was established for proposing a training model, this aims to empower the leadership for management in the telecommuting model in a traditional retail bank. The methodology employed to achieve the results is Design Science Research, and after extensive data collection, qualitative research, semi-structured interviews, in-depth interviews, and focus groups, a training model for telecommuting team managers was created. An artifact called the training method was created. The DSR involves understanding the problem, suggestions for creating the artifact, development and evaluation of the training model by experts from the Bank under study in this work. The proposed training model was evaluated, adjusted and approved by experts and covers important topics for the correct management of teams in telework, such as communication, monitoring of results, leadership skills, tools and technologies, among others, presented in depth in this work by the author.Nenhuma
