This dissertation talks about the empirical research that analyzes anti-racist legal education, more specifically, the pedagogical projects of the undergraduate degree in Law, at Universities located in the city of Porto Alegre/RS: Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos (UNISINOS), Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), Centro Universitário Ritter dos Reis (UNIRITTER), Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS), Faculdade Dom Bosco de Porto Alegre (FDB) e Faculdade de Direito da Fundação Escola Superior do Ministério Público (FMP). The problem: The elected universities have complied with the provisions of the National Curriculum Guidelines for the Undergraduate Course in Law, Resolution number 5, of December 17, 2018, article 2, paragraph 4, which contemplates the forms of transversal treatment, referring to the content of the education of ethnic-racial relations and Afro-Brazilian and African histories and cultures? The objective: to verify if the study of the racial theme is being included in the Pedagogical Projects of the Courses (PPCs) in the graduation of the Law of the Universities researched, in the sense of contributing for the effectiveness of an anti-racist education that transforms the Brazilian society. Since education is one of the pillars of society, the anti-racist legal study aims to collaborate in the training of legal professionals in order to train and prepare them for the exercise of the profession in a humanistic, sensitive and attentive way to the defense of rights of the black population. The research was carried out using the qualitative methodology of bibliographic review and empirical methodology in law, through document analysis. In conclusion, through the data collection carried out, in the PPCs and in the Curricular Matrices, information was obtained that the elected universities are complying with the Curricular Guidelines, through transversality. Although the response to the research problem positively surprised the researcher, it is believed that Law Schools can make some internal adjustments, which will be better detailed throughout the essay, in order to offer an anti-racist legal education.CAPES - Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior
