Fetichismo y economía capitalista en Karl Marx: un estudio acerca de la interpretación de Karl Marx en el tomo I de El capital sobre el ocultamiento del funcionamiento del sistema capitalista en las ideas que los actores económicos se hacen de sus propias relaciones económicas

Abstract

La presente investigación busca analizar el concepto del fetichismo de la mercancía que aparece en el apartado cuatro del capítulo primero de El capital para mostrar la relación intrínseca entre este concepto y el funcionamiento mismo del sistema capitalista de producción. Nuestra interpretación defiende la idea de que el fetichismo es un concepto transversal y recurrente durante todo El capital y, por lo tanto, debe de ser estudiado como puesto en forma en las mismas relaciones económicas y sociales que Marx analiza a lo largo del libro. Para ello, nos ocuparemos en primer lugar, del concepto de fetichismo que Marx rescata y reinterpreta en lo que será su propia concepción de las mercancías. En segundo lugar, analizaremos el conjunto de ideas que sirven de soporte al fetichismo y sin las cuales al mismo tiempo las relaciones sociales del capitalismo no pueden ponerse en funcionamiento. En tercer lugar, detallaremos cómo el fetichismo propicia el funcionamiento del sistema capitalista, a través, de las categorías de dinero y compra y venta de la fuerza de trabajo. Y finalmente, atenderemos cómo las crisis de la gran industria propician la superación de este fetichismo más no de forma definitiva.

This research seeks to analyze the concept of commodity fetishism that appears in section four of the first chapter of Capital to show the intrinsic relationship between this concept and the very functioning of the capitalist production system. Our interpretation defends the idea that fetishism is a transversal and recurrent concept throughout Capital and, therefore, must be studied as put in shape in the same economic and social relations that Marx analyzes throughout the book. To do this, we will first deal with the concept of fetishism that Marx rescues and reinterprets in what will be his own conception of commodities. Secondly, we will analyze the set of ideas that support fetishism and without which, at the same time, the social relations of capitalism cannot work. Thirdly, we will detail how fetishism fosters the functioning of the capitalist system, through the categories of money and the purchase and sale of labor power. Finally, we will attend to how the crises of big industry favor the resolution of this fetishism, but not in a definitive way.
