Tendencias teóricas en la transición educativa entre el nivel inicial y el nivel primaria

Abstract

La transición educativa en el nivel inicial y nivel primaria cuentan con al menos dos décadas de investigación en continentes como Europa, Norte América, Latinoamérica, Centroamérica y Oceanía. Sin embargo, aún son pocas los estudios sobre la transición educativa en Latinoamérica. Con el fin de llenar este vacío de conocimiento, el presente artículo bibliométrico muestra las tendencias teóricas en la transición educativa entre el nivel inicial y primaria. Por tal razón, se revisó 73 fuentes sobre la transición educativa de los dos niveles educativos entre los últimos dos siglos (XX y XXI), esto tomando como base cuatro fuentes primarias. Los resultados señalan que la mayoría de la literatura se encuentra redactado en inglés y las investigaciones son artículos de revistas. Además, la mayoría de los estudios fueron publicados en ciudades del continente europeo. De la misma manera, los hallazgos revelan que las indagaciones citadas tienen relación con la teórica ecológica y la teoría del curso de vida. Asimismo, los autores más veces citados en el corpus han explorado la transición educativa entre el nivel inicial y primaria.

Educational transition at initial and primary level has at least two decades of research on continents such as Europe, North America, Latin America, Central America and Oceania. However, there are still few studies about educational transition in Latin America. In order to fill this gap of knowledge, this bibliometric article shows the theoretical trends in the educational transition between the initial and primary level. For this reason, 73 sources were reviewed about educational transition of the two educational levels between the last two centuries XX and XX from four principal sources. The results indicate that most of the literature is written in English and are journal articles. In addition, most of the studies were published in cities on European continent. Similarly, the findings reveal that the research cited is related to ecological theoretical and life course theory. In addition, the authors most often cited in the corpus have explored educational transition between initial and primary level.
