dc.description.abstractThis article aims to analyze the actions of the Tuberculosis-Free Prisons Project in the early diagnosis of the disease, as well as adherence to treatment - continuous, lasting six months - having as sample three prison units in the cities of Cuiabá, Manaus and Recife.To this end, collaborative approaches were used, ie focus groups through in-depth interviews with three audiences affected by the strategies: people deprived of liberty (PPL) being treated for tuberculosis or combined, also for HIV, security agents and health professionals, the last two, workers in the prisons mentioned above.en
