Uso de NFT no receituário digital: um mecanismo de segurança médica e farmacêutica no sistema de saúde pública
Description
The adoption of crypto assets is increasing and new uses for them are emerging every day. Crypto asset networks enable high scalability, provide privacy to their users, and offer reliable registration of virtual objects and transactions. Crypto assets can be non-fungible tokens(NFTs) generated by a specific contract, but which are distinct from each other. NFTs can represent real-world objects and provide traceability guarantees that are compatible with the requirements of a drug sales control mechanism. Given this context, this work analyzes the application of NFTs in the representation of purchase permits for restricted drugs. It proposes an architectural model based on Blockchains and NTFs to allows the storage of medical prescriptions and the respective permissions for the acquisition of controlled drugs. This model was implemented and evaluated using Ethereum'ssecond layer for testing, called Mumbai. In this network, the cost of NFT creation requests is less than R$0.01 and the transaction time is less than 15 seconds, which makes the implementation viable. These resultsshow that it is possible to implement a medical prescription system througha scalable, cheap, and reliable network.Nenhuma
