dc.description.abstract | Corporate Education is increasingly gaining prominence in organizations, mediating
and facilitating change processes, aiming at efficient results for employees and the
company. This study sought to analyze the influence of Corporate Education actions
on the performance of employees of a financial institution. Regarding the
methodology, this research is characterized as a qualitative study based on the use
of semi-structured interviews. Data collection was carried out in 2022. Data analysis
was performed based on content analysis, and nine categories were established to
obtain the results. It could be inferred, from the results pointed out in the research,
that the changes that occurred and the knowledge acquired in the training programs
contributed to improve the performance of the employees, however, the practice in
the function was the determining factor to consolidate the learning; the education
actions developed along with the training programs were reflected in changes in the
behavior of employees, but these actions still need to focus on the development of
attitudes of more engagement and commitment, in order to stimulate, in each
employee, a sense of belonging to the institution; the development of new technical
and behavioral skills were fundamental for the employees; the change in mindset
appeared as an essential factor to transform personal and professional results in
employees; mentoring actions proved to be fundamental for employees in the
evaluation period. Thus, it is necessary to turn attention to rethinking mentoring
actions in all training programs. The prior knowledge trails proved to be a suggestion
for future training, since it was pointed out as necessary for employees need to enter
training programs already with a minimum of knowledge for the specific function. | en |
