Avaliação de uma interface do usuário (UI) incluída no software de realidade virtual imersiva (RVi) mosis LAB
Description
Discomfort and eye strain are common problems during prolonged use of Immersive Virtual Reality. Due to the lack of protocols for the development of interfaces in this environment, proposing convenient solutions for this task can be a complex challenge. Semiotics, the study of the construction of meaning from the senses, has been seen as an alternative to improve User Experience (UX) in environments designed with a 3D interface. The present research proposes the definition of analytical guidelines that evaluate the UX applied to the Mosis LAB software, considering the adjustment of the environment according to semiotics and UX concepts. Works related to the research topic were raised containing ideas with the potential to improve the UX in the virtual environment targeted by the study. The research includes simulations with each element of the Mosis LAB to assess the user’s perception from a semiotic perspective. Theoretical support in Semiotics and User Perception research has considerable potential to improve UX in the virtual environment targeted by the study. Therefore, it tends to improve the efficiency of the interaction, reducing potential physical and mental damage, thus enabling longer continuous use of the system.Petrobras - Petróleo Brasileiro S. A.
