dc.description.abstract | The objective of this study is to propose a dashboard of indicators aimed at monitoring
the management of Colégio ACM, in Porto Alegre, as a way of enabling the fulfillment
of its mission. School managers needed a resource through which they could access
the information required to manage the organization's present and future. Thus, the
research had the issue of identifying the most important indicators that the
management of Colégio ACM needs to monitor systematically, in order to fulfill the
institution's mission, generate more outstanding quality in school processes, and
guarantee its economic and financial sustainability. The research methodology adopts
the qualitative paradigm, as it is an investigation that has an interpretive nature. This
is a case study whose data collection was carried out through documentary research
and semi-structured interviews with managers of the ACM-RS institution and the
Colégio ACM. Data analysis was conducted to seek subsidies to propose the most
relevant indicators that the school management must monitor in a systematic way.
During the research, it was observed that part of the interviewees was not aware of
what an indicator is, which signals the need to promote training on management by
indicators. We sought to organize a set of 16 indicators according to the six dimensions
of the strategic map of the ACM-RS institution, from the perspectives of society,
economic-financial, customer and market, processes, and training and development. | en |
