dc.description.abstractThis work is a case study and aims to investigate how people management policies can promote the physical and mental health of employees in an industry, identifying the main needs of employees, regarding their physical and mental health. at the time of a pandemic and propose people management strategies that aim to contribute to the promotion of physical and mental health. Based on a survey with the participation of two hundred and two employees of different hierarchical levels, gender, age and experience, through a quantitative and qualitative method, it was possible to understand the current context of physical and mental health of the participants and their perception adherence to the policies adopted by the industry. The results made it possible to propose recommendations for inclusion or alteration of current policies, to promote the physical and mental health of employees.pt_BR
