A experiência de con-viver com um companheiro ou uma companheira que tenta pôr fim à vida: possibilidades compreensivas no campo da conjugalidade.
Description
The main purpose of this study is to understand conjugality from the experience of spouses whose partner try to end their own lives. A qualitative research of phenomenological nature was developed, in which the attempt was to build a dialogic plot between the narratives collected in the meetings with each collaborator; authors that contribute to the thematic; the researcher's own logbook; as well as some images that had captured her in the end of each interview. The chosen epistemological approach to analyze the phenomenon is based on Heidegger's Existential Analytics and Gadamer's Philosophical Hermeneutics. In general, it was considered that the phenomenon of suicide has been revealed, in the present days, through a technical domain, which sometimes may have the effect of silencing those ones who think or try to end their own lives. It was also observed the pre-stablished ways of "being a spouse" and "being a couple" crossings in dealing with the “suicide” partner. Therefore, considering such scenario, the study proposes a reflection about the ways of caring for oneself and others, amid the domains of the “impersonal” and the possibility of breaking the “identities” that can imprison the “Dasein” in suffering situations. In this context, the dialogic-hermeneutic dimension points out to the possibility that the spouses assume themselves as the care, they already are, in an attitude of anticipatory pre-occupation, being able to be constantly at stake, moving towards new possible sense horizons.Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPES
