Comunicação interna e sustentabilidade: o caso do Tribunal de Justiça de Pernambuco.

Abstract

In the last four decades, environmental degradation and the various forms of social exclusion have produced shocks. The need to overcome them requires concepts and practices that have become part of the global agenda, provoking debates, articulations and leading roles in various segments. Issues involving sustainability are substantially interconnected, and communication is responsible for constructing narratives with a view to giving visibility to this universe. Based on the assumption that the Pernambuco Court of Justice recognizes the need for improvements in conduct that address the dynamics of sustainability, this research aims to identify new internal communication strategies that can be used by the TJPE to consolidate sustainability practices at the organizational level. The justification is given by the recognition of the importance of internal communication as an instrument for building a sense of sustainability, as an element of strategic character and as a value for incorporating institutional practices. The approach used was of the qualitative type and we were based on the bibliographical research of scholars such as Kunsch, Baldissera, Torquato, Marchiori, Campellano, Castells, Harari, Sachs, Elkington, Barbieri. The study also included the document analysis through the collection of data from internal documents that allowed us to explore information, monitor goals and results parameters, in order to elaborate interpretations in our analysis. We identified gaps that weaken the analysis and results established between the communicative actions and the promotion of sustainable practices in the institution.
