This work presents a research with descriptive objective, of quantitative and qualitative
nature, of a unique case study of na organization in the sector if the creative software industry.
It addresses the management models that are being discussed in the literature and in scientific
productions related to the creative software development industry, as well as the analysis of
the use by an industry organization and a product / service proposal. The research covers the
presentation of concepts from the creative industry, creative software industry, creative
management and its principles in the creative software industry and changes in work during
the evolution of society. As for the study of management models, it includes, in addition to
definitions, the history of management and how changes occurred over the years due to the
social movements from the 1st Industrial Revolution to the 4th Industrial Revolution. The
study of management models in the literature exposes what is being discussed in 4 selected
works, and in scientific productions, it includes methods of bibliometric analysis, for articles
collected on the basis of the Web of Science over a period of 20 years, of analysis of content,
for a stratified sample of articles, and triangulation in the realization of the relationship
between models in the literature and the results of bibliometric and content analysis. A
comparative analysis between the models in the literature and scientific productions is
performed and presents similarities and differences between the results, exposing a focus on
the evolution of the models and a more homogeneous direction between the categories of
models used in the literature, although the importance of categories of innovation and
leadership, while in the publications of the articles there is a trend towards operational
management models. The study also contemplates an observation of the use of the models
discussed in the works and articles in an organization in the sector of the creative software
industry, followed by a proposal for an action plan to open the use of 4 models from the
innovation and leadership categories with the claim to generate improvements in the short and
medium term in the management process.
