This paper aims to analyze the contribution of the Principle and Foundation of
Ignatian Spirituality under the light of Viktor Frankl's Logotherapy and Existential
Analysis to modern subjectivity in a search of meaning. Nowadays, there has been a
crisis of meaning in modern society and the suffering of a life without meaning. It is
known that every human being must have a reason for what or for whom to live. As
well as, changing the perspective and leaving yourself for helping other people, the
human being is realized. Therefore, spirituality plays a fundamental role. Those who
guide their lives according to the Spirit of God develop their best and awaken
inwardly happiness. Thus, they are complete, who f eel loved and know how to love.
