| dc.description | The second edition of the IEEE MTT-S Latin America Microwave Conference (LAMC) was carried out in Arequipa, Peru, the second week of December 2018. After the official approval of LAMC in 2015 as a biannual MTT-S conference, there were several strategic activities developed in Region 9, such as the creation of new MTT-S chapters and the organization of several DML visits. Those activities were key to the successful organization of this conference. The first edition of LAMC took place in December 12-14, 2016, in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, with a great success. The second edition was in charge of the IEEE MTT-S Peruvian Chapter in Arequipa, Peru, with an excellent performance. | es_MX |
