| dc.description | Si la realidad actual es cambiante, multideterminada, plural y heterogénea; si los habitantes de este mundo globalizado caminamos en las fronteras, en los quiebres, en las incertidumbres y en el riesgo, más que en las certezas, uno de los desafíos del investigador de lo social tiene que ver con la construcción de un conocimiento de fronteras, desde acercamientos complejos que trasciendan los planteamientos hipotético deductivos como la única forma de hacer investigación. Ello nos acerca a la discusión sobre la transdisciplinariedad, donde se plantean categorías alternativas a la pretensión de exactitud y confiabilidad en la indagación, para dar centralismo al rigor etodológico, a la ética y a la vigilancia epistemológica en el proceso de construir conocimiento. El presente trabajo pretende compartir mis reflexiones en torno a un proceso de investigación transdisciplinar, cuyo referente empírico fue un grupo de habitantes de los suburbios que se involucraron en una experiencia educativa política en la década de los ochenta y que pertenecieron a una organización social. Retomo, también, la crítica social como lugar donde se coloca el investigador, lo cual lo ubica como actor social, desde una doble indignación: frente a la miseria y frente al egoísmo. If reality is ever-changing, multi-influenced, plural and heterogeneous; if the inhabitants of this “globalized world” are actually wandering through borders through fractures, and through uncertainty and risk; one of the challenges the social researcher faces is the construction of frontier knowledge. This knowledge has to be built from complex approaches which go beyond hypothetical- deductive approaches which presume this is the only valid way of conducting research. This scope will, in fact, get us near the discussion about “trans-disciplinarily” where non-traditional categories are developed as alternatives to the ever-present aim of mono-disciplinarian exactitude and reliability. The new categories will then, give a central role to the methodological rigor, ethics, and epistemological thoroughness in the process of constructing knowledge. This paper aims at sharing my reflections about a trans-disciplinary research process which had a strong empirical component stemming from a group of suburbia citizens who belonged to a social-civil organization and got involved in an educational-political project during the 1980s. I am positioning myself in the social critiquerealm, which forces the researcher to become a social actor confronted with a double source of indignation: misery and selfishness. | es |
