This study presents as its theme the work provided via a digital platform by workers engaged through applications, in particular those who make deliveries using the bicycle as a means of transport. It discusses changes in work resulting from new technologies and new methods of organizing and managing work in digital contexts. The research addresses the working conditions of deliverymen, aggravated by the emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic. There is an unequal relationship between delivery workers and delivery platform companies that leads to precarious work. The objective of this work is to analyze the working conditions of delivery workers, engaged through applications, aggravated in times of pandemic, and seek to bring collective organization alternatives that contradict the exploratory logic of large digital platforms. For this purpose, the qualitative research modality is used, carried out through individual interviews with members of the Pedal Express cyclist collective that provides the goods delivery service, located in the city of Porto Alegre. The dissertation has chapters that discuss, respectively, the transformations of work, the work platform and the collective of cyclists Pedal Express. In the latter, the analysis of the interviews is highlighted. The results pointed to the fact that the collective organization of workers implies better working conditions.en
