dc.description.abstract | One of the main problems that a half shaft may face is the resonance of this component with the vibration generated by the engine. One solution to eliminate or mitigate the vibration of half shaft when its natural frequency is reached is adding tuned damper, thus creating a software optimization natural frequencies of the half shafts, as well as the selection of the damper more appropriate, will represent a financial gain in material, design time and quality for half shafts generating competitive advantage. Thus, the aim of this work is the development of a project plan for the development of software for optimization of frequency response of half shaft by modifying the profile of the shaft or adding a vibration tuned absorber in order to obtain the performance desired when installed in the vehicle, reducing development time and costs for new applications. | en |
