Description
The civil construction industry in Brazil is a sector that still needs to improve a lot in relation to work safety as this is the industry segment that most registers work accidents. The implementation of management systems is extremely important for control and hazard analysis in order to increase the reliability of the systems. In this way, the present study was dedicated to the elaboration and implementation of an automated spreadsheet that improves the quality of the release of work permits (WP) for activities that require it based on a Preliminary Hazard Analysis (PHA) focusing on collective protections. To survey and standardize the risks of the automated spreadsheet, a methodology was developed and an APR was implemented for each stage of the work so that the results of the worksheet were compiled and sent directly to PT. Finally, the layout of the automated spreadsheet was made, implanted in one of the construction sites targeted by the study and validation was carried out through security analysis, time for issuance and user evaluation. The results showed that with the automated spreadsheet, the time for PT release was reduced from 40 minutes to 22 minutes, and with this methodology, users reported feeling more secure and confident to perform the tasks. The study applied this spreadsheet to a construction industry and it proved to be effective in improving security and speeding up the release of PT's.
