This research aims to analyze Brazilian journalistic podcasts in the context of platforming. We seek to broaden the theoretical basis through platform, convergence, remediation and midiamorphosis studies as guiding concepts in the investigation. The research arises from the perception that the podcast is an expanding phenomenon in Brazil and its main question is to verify how the platform interferes in the production of journalistic podcasts. The three podcasts were chosen as cases: Café da Manhã from the Folha de S. Paulo newspaper, Durma com Essa from Nexo Jornal, and O Assunto, from the G1 portal. The analysis of the production of the programs and of the interviews carried out with the journalists of the three cases helped in the construction of the understanding about the logic of the platform. Data-driven writing, the use of platforms for both publishing and producing or disseminating, and the choice of agenda are some examples of elements of the platform that have been observed. The interference of platforming in the way of operating journalism in podcasts is evident. Journalism appropriates and technologically depends on this logic that allows the adaptation of information from TV, radio, newspaper, portals - for example, with a leading role in podcasts. The platforms are facilitators of news production and consumption. Through the enhancement of audio, the flow of these various other media, the podcast materializes and reaches the public.en
