Banco de dados em aplicações software as a service: estudo de caso com Azure SQL Database Elastic Pool

Abstract

With the advent of the internet, software development has undergone major changes in its architectures. Most modern applications are already projects to work exclusively via the internet. This type of architecture brings a number of advantages such as high-scale selling. However, this type of architecture can cause problems, especially in relation to databases. The paper presents a case study using Azure Sql Database Elastic Pool as a database for SaaS applications. By presenting comparative tests among other approaches, the results show how the tool behaved and in which scenarios it can be treated with a solution.
