dc.description.abstract | This dissertation investigated the school management of Brazilian Youth and Adult Education (EJA) and its challenges, to propose a qualified and relevant teaching to students. To this end, it was planned to observe and analyze some school management segments, such as administrative and pedagogical teams, teachers and students, in order to contribute to the qualification of the school management of Youth and Adult Education modality, in both public and private schools. Thus, this research work is based on a critical and emancipating theoretical reference in the educational area. Thus, there were indications that the success of the teaching-learning process is due to the intersection between the interested parties. Furthermore, educational management must make the school environment conducive to knowledge construction, thus placing students as subjects of learning. The methodological process used in this research was through observations at the EJA of UFRGS' Colégio de Aplicação and analysis of questionnaires applied to two managers, two teachers and two students. The approach of the data occurred through the analysis of content. For this bias, it was possible to attend the central question of the research, which concerns to the management actions necessary to EJA’s students to enable the construction of the Research Projects in the Communication Block of UFRGS' CAp. The result of the research pointed out that the school management of CAp’s EJA is attentive to the development of the educational process of the students. This school also strives in providing a welcoming space for educators, giving them the opportunity to have active voices in the choice of the methodologies adopted. Finally, this dissertation will be disseminated at UFRGS' Colégio de Aplicação, at EDUFRGS hall, one of the events of Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, and also in scientific events. | en |
