dc.description.abstract | The objective of this research is to understand the paths of educational innovation through the implementation of the Oficinas (workshop) Project at Colégio Santo Inácio, in Rio de Janeiro. The Oficinas Project was analyzed based on the proposals of the Common Educational Project (PEC) from the Jesuit Education Network, of the integral education and of the new methodologies that appear as the educational parameters of the 21st century. The area of interest arose from the fact that the researcher, who is a grade coordinator at the High School, followed the entire development of the project, since its beginning. In addition, it was necessary to systematize the project in order to disseminate it throughout the Jesuit Education Network. The research had a qualitative approach, and the instrument used was a semi-structured interview with managers and teachers working in the Oficinas, comprising 11 professionals in total. The Jesuit Education Network documents analyzed substantiate the project, reaffirming that the student must be the central element and the protagonist of the educational action. By analyzing the results, the conclusion was that the Oficinas Project was decisive in the process of disseminating other innovative practices in the school. It proved capable of developing essential skills and competences for global citizenship. The systematization of the Oficinas Project carried out by the research becomes an intervention since it helps the school itself and the entire Jesuit Education Network to analyze the innovation paths taken by Colégio Santo Inácio in the execution of this Project. | en |
