Estudo de liners compostos por solo local e resíduos de construção e demolição reciclados para impermeabilização inferior de aterros sanitários
Description
The environmental impacts of human being's lifestyle are been flared by science with results that compromise transgenerationality. The holistic perspective, the recycling and the industrial symbiosis must guide the technical decisions to close cycles promoting the sustainability. This paper target is the installation assessment and monitoring in loco of natural and alternative liners compounds of local soil (SL), local clay, used to build liners in the pilot experiment landfill (LMP), construction and demolition waste recycled predominantly red (RCDRV) and construction and demolition waste recycled predominantly grey (RCDRC), for application as a lower waterproofing layer in landfills. The pilot experiment considered the full-scale application of liners. It was carried out in a location adjacent to a landfill of solid urban waste, in the municipality of São Leopoldo - RS. The experimental program was developed considering the geochemical and geotechnical evaluation of the materials used in the liners. Liner 1: 100% (SL), liner 2 100% LMP, 60% SL + 40% RCDRV and liner 4 60% SL + 40% RCDRC. FRX tests and pH determination were carried out with later elements content behavior evaluation over time. Defined and comparing the results of the contents of chemical elements with the geochemical background. Compaction technological control (CT) was carried out, statistical methodology was developed and applied for the squares compaction in the modified energy in loco, deformed and undeformed samples were collected and tests were carried out to determine the different materials studied permeability, physical indices and resistance. Scale adjustments were made to transpose laboratory data to the field. During the monitoring period, all liners showed changes in their geotechnical and geochemical conditions, with liner 1 being the most altered. Liner 2 is the only one that can be used with a waterproof bottom barrier. Liner 4 showed better geochemical results, with a proposal for the definition of a reactive liner for the chemical protection of the waterproofing liner. After the geotechnical and geochemical evaluation, comparing the results with the geochemical background and with each other over time, the geochemical anthroposphere environment becomes evident, a new proposal for the use of liners is indicated, the reactivity, to use liners from the RCD predominantly grey recycle.CAPES - Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior
