Uma análise crítica das concepções de inovação presentes nos documentos curriculares do Curso de Administração de uma Universidade Pública em Imperatriz (MA)
Description
This dissertation brings as central concern the conception of innovation, more specifically the way it is constructed and adjusted to the local reality of the Administration undergraduate course curriculum. The objective is to analyze the concepts and visions of innovation approached in the curricular documents of an Administration undergraduate course at a public university in Imperatriz, Maranhão. This research also aims at investigating how the notion of innovation is discussed in the curricular documents. The theoretical framework is based on authors such as Antunes, Chiavenato, Drucker, Fisher, Goodson, Sacristán and Saviani, culminating in an analysis of the current legislation. Methodologically, this research prioritizes a qualitative study, supported by this exploratory research and by the outline of a historical and documental research, throughout the access to the sources of primary data available at the National Education Board’s and Ministry of Education’s databases, as well as to secondary sources, based on the literature review. The data analysis provided the identification of different stages (of innovation) in the Administration undergraduate course, which include considering new concepts, structures and methodologies for teaching and learning in this course. Thus, based on this study, there is still a space for reviewing the production of curricular content, alongside with strategies for the increment of innovation in curricular practices within undergraduate courses in Brazil. The obtained results set the foundations for the hypothesis formulated in this dissertation. The conclusions show a process of reconfiguration of the current curricular practices in the analyzed curriculum. It was not possible to conclude, though, to what extent, and how, the usage of these practices interferes directly in the educational process of professionals graduated in Administration. It is necessary, as a possible unfolding of this research, to observe the next curricular revision, in order to seek for more evidences of innovation in the educational process intended by the course project.Nenhuma
