This research involves the public assistance policies that guide the Serviços de Convivência e Fortalecimento de Vínculos (SCFV). The main concepts that mobilize and structure this research are Public Policies, Vulnerability, Social Protection, Body Culture, Non Formal Education, Intervention of the teacher of Physical Education. It is proposed to observe the educational intervention possibilities of the physical education teacher in non-school spaces, where the participation and interlocution of the users is felt by the involvement with the activities in the workshops of manifestations of the corporal culture worked by this component of the multiprofessional team of the program. The guiding axis of the research are the interventions of the workshop facilitators and their educational actions in the SCFV in the city of Imperatriz - Maranhão, whose general objective is to analyze the performance and educational intervention of the Physical Education teacher in the universe of care and social protection environments of program users, considering their role in the structural set of these places as well as the characteristics of the activities offered in social programs. The specific objectives seek to examine the SCFV documents and its relationships with the permanence and intervention of the physical education teacher; to identify the actions and pedagogical interventions of the physical education teacher and the evaluation practices used in the social programs that provide their involvement, to evidence of the educational objectives of the program and the working conditions of the physical education teacher and to relate the context of the SCFV program in Imperatriz with the guiding directives of its constitution. The methodology used was based in the qualitative approach; the data collection was done through semi-structured interviews with 6 (six) members of the framework that compose the SCFV program, being the facilitators of the sports workshops and other components of the SCFV multiprofessional team in the urban poles of the city of Imperatriz. The data were examined through the content analysis and the results revealed the objectives of the study with pertinent clarifications on the public policies evidencing a new perception of citizenship through community participation in programs such as the SCFV. It was concluded that the way physical education teachers are intervening in the workshops, although, with limitations of didactic materials and infrastructure in their practices, these contribute to the training of users and to the transformation of the communities served by their services. Another explicit bias is linked to the positive changes of users participating in the program in different environments such as home, school, institution, and social relationships, friendships and family. In summary, the educational interventions of physical education teachers reach children and young people, as well as families, that is, they reveal situations arising from the work developed, especially the construction of bonds, affective relationships and social transformations.en
