dc.description.abstract | There are two terms that surround this research from the beginning and that are somehow imperative in the formulation of its central problem: movement and image. Our interest in observing Facebook is to understand how the construction of movement in the social network produces images and imagéités that make up Facebook, both tendencies of an audiovisuality that we believe to last in Facebook. We will see how Facebook constructs the illusion of "movement" through an image-movement of social networks, a concept approached from the propositions of Deleuze in Cinema. We constellate constructs of movement that emulate regimes of visibility, and through the imagery of ephemerality, gameplay and ethics we analyze how the algorithms, the Timeline, the News Feed, the interface and other Facebook applications act in the social network, creating this illusion of the audiovisual experience. We produced a current map of Facebook, excavating the social network, in an attempt to construct a broad view of how it might be seen in the period proposed during the thesis. Through the concepts of naked, ostentatious and metamorphic images of Rancière, we delve into what we understand as images and imagéités of Facebook and we could apply these concepts in the analysis of the chosen objects. | en |
