Entre os muros da escola : gênero e docência na constituição de uma pedagogia de afeto

Abstract

The present work investigates the ways in which gender, articulated sexuality, crosses and constitutes the teaching in the scope of the film Entre os muros da escola (name of the Brazilian version), French film directed by Laurent Cantet (2008). The study is inscribed in the fields of Gender Studies in a poststructuralist perspective, Queer Studies, Studies on Teaching and Studies on Cinema and Education. From these fields, the research is developed using the methodological procedure of screen ethnography. Articulating the theoretical-methodological tools already explained, and through the analysis, it was realized that: 1) gender is a way of giving visibility to the "Pedagogy of Affection"; and 2) the teaching of the man of the genus professor François Marin is established from a heterogenous genus. In this way, one can support the thesis that gender, articulated sexuality, in the film "Between the walls of the school", constitutes a way of being teaching - male teaching heterosexual heterosexual - that, when put into exercise, operates constituting the which can be called a "pedagogy of affection".
