dc.description.abstract | The present dissertation aimed to investigate the work practices of military police officers crowded in the Battalion of Environmental Protection of the Military Police of the state of Mato Grosso The research verified the contradictions of the institutional nature and the historically defined role for the Military Police of Mato Grosso in the work of environmental protection and the possibilities of an articulation between inspection and environmental education. The study was based on the historical-dialectical materialist method, assuming epistemologies in the field of decolonial, feminist and vegetarian theory. The research methodology used was the discursive analysis, considering the concepts of semiotics, alterity, dialogism, exotopia, polyphony, discourse, enunciation and authorship based on the author Bakhtin. The concept of 'absentee referent' was also used as a methodological strategy to deal with constraints and impediments in the use of speech as an information element; besides the social being according to Lukács. Among the results obtained it was possible to verify that, in the midst of contradictions, the solidarity bonds between the participants allow a dialogical exchange in the environmental field between police and controlled subjects. Moreover, it was possible to verify that the role of the institution studied is limited, given the previous and greater need to question the systems that cross our societies and prevent the proper understanding of ourselves as subjects and of the other human and nonhuman components that share with us the space we call the environment. | en |
